Get Involved
As a membership association, ANAFP encourages our members to stay engaged. Doing this helps members not only showcase their expertise in the profession, but it also helps other members benefit from lessons learned and knowledge sharing.
In addition to being a career boosting tool, joining the organization's Board of Directors or becoming a Contributing Editor provides many professional benefits, and we encourage members to proudly display their participation on their resumes and social media accounts. Below is a synopsis of what to expect by participating.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is made up of volunteers who assist the association in developing ideas for growth and membership expansion, providing strategic guidance, and fundraising. The Board helps formulate a direction for the organization, look at ways to improve member services, recruit sponsors, and occasionally liaise with patrons who produce products or services that may be of benefit to our members and/or assist in speaking engagements.
ANAFP members who have had two (2) consecutive years of active membership status are eligible to apply to become a member of the Board of Directors. Service on the Board is for two (2) years. Interested candidates can apply to become a member of the Board of Directors by filling out an online application form (please note, this online application form will be available starting late August 2025 -- please check back here for the updated link).
Contributing Editors
Contributing Editors help develop content (i.e., publications, tools, etc.) useful for ANAFP members and for furthering the profession. All Contributing Editors are credited for their work. Developed content is distributed via the Association's website, newsletters, and social media accounts. Individuals interested in becoming a Contributing Editor can email anafp@anafp.org.
Sponsors
Consider becoming a sponsor of ANAFP. Various sponsorship levels are available to interested companies. Sponsorships allow companies to display their logo on ANAFP's website and in all targeted communication and host webinars open to ANAFP members and contacts.
